Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Istanbul Arrival

Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, your guide will meet, assist, and transfer you to your hotel. Istanbul was once the capital city of the Byzantium and Roman Empires, as well as the Ottoman State.

This fascinating city crosses two continents, Europe and Asia, and offers museums, bazaars, minarets, mosques, churches, palaces, restaurants, and a vibrant cultural atmosphere.

Overnight: Istanbul

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour

After breakfast, enjoy a guided Istanbul city tour. Visit the ancient Hippodrome, once the scene of chariot races, and see the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.

Continue to the Sultanahmet Imperial Mosque, also known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. The tour also includes a visit to the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, one of the greatest surviving examples of Byzantine architecture.

After lunch, visit Asil Efendi for shopping, where guests can find spices, herbs, Turkish baklava, Turkish delights, Turkish coffee, nuts, fruits, souvenirs, ceramic handicrafts, evil eye totems, olive oil, soaps, and other goods.

Overnight: Istanbul

Optional: Dinner cruise on the Bosphorus with dinner, local drinks, belly dancing, Turkish folklore, DJ performance, and entertainment.

Please note: Guests should carry a headscarf when visiting religious places such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia Mosque.

Day 3: Gallipoli Tour

Depart early for Gallipoli to visit the battlefields. After a rest stop and lunch break, visit Gabatepe Museum before exploring important sites including Ariburnu Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Beach Cemetery, Lone Pine, and Chunuck Bair.

Overnight: Canakkale

Day 4: Troy Tour, Pergamon and Kusadasi

Depart for Troy and visit the famous archaeological and mythological site known for the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy.

Continue to Pergamon after lunch and explore the magnificent acropolis. Pergamon was known for its impressive temples and library, making it an important cultural and political centre of its time.

On the way, visit a jewellery centre before arriving in Kusadasi.

Day 5: Ephesus Tour and Turkish Village Sirince

After breakfast, depart for a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the world. Visit the Temple of Artemis, Curetes Street, Roman baths, Celsus Library, and the Grand Theatre.

After lunch, visit a carpet-weaving centre and continue with a Turkish village tour in Sirince. Sirince is known for its original white-painted houses, vineyards, and fruit wines.

Guests will also visit one of the famous leather production centres of the region.

Overnight: Kusadasi

Day 6: Kusadasi to Pamukkale

Depart for Pamukkale and enjoy a lunch break on arrival. Afterwards, visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale, also known as Cotton Castle, and the ruins of Hierapolis.

Guests can walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. The day also includes a visit to one of Pamukkale’s famous textile factories.

Overnight: Pamukkale

Optional: Tandem paragliding over Pamukkale.

Optional: Hot air balloon flight over Pamukkale’s white travertines early the next morning, subject to reservation.

Day 7: Pamukkale to Antalya

Guests who join the optional Pamukkale hot air balloon tour will depart early to the balloon take-off area and experience sunrise views over Hierapolis and the white travertines.

After breakfast, depart for Antalya with a coffee break en route.

Overnight: Antalya

Day 8: Antalya Old City Tour and Waterfalls

After breakfast, visit Antalya Old City, also known as Kaleici. Highlights include the marina, Clock Tower, Hadrian’s Gate, Broken Minaret, and Hidirlik Tower.

After lunch at the hotel, depart for Duden Waterfalls. The region is known for beautiful waterfalls formed as streams make their way toward the Mediterranean.

Overnight: Antalya

Day 9: Antalya, Konya and Cappadocia

Depart early for Konya. After lunch, visit the green-tiled Mausoleum of Mevlana, the mystic founder of the Sufi sect known as the Whirling Dervishes.

After the Konya Mevlana tour, continue to Cappadocia and check into your hotel.

Overnight: Cappadocia

Please note: This section may be done by domestic flight from Antalya to Cappadocia if the minimum number of guests is not reached. In that case, the domestic flight is included in the given rate and lunch will be excluded.

Optional: Cappadocia Turkish Night Show with Anatolian food, local drinks, belly dance, Turkish folklore, DJ performance, and entertainment.

Day 10: Cappadocia Tour with Underground City and Goreme Open Air Museum

Guests joining the optional hot air balloon tour will be collected early before sunrise to experience the unique scenery of Cappadocia from above.

After breakfast, depart for a Cappadocia tour. Visit Ozkonak Underground City, one of the best-preserved underground cities in Cappadocia, followed by Goreme Open Air Museum, famous for frescoes dating back to the 10th century.

Continue to Cavusin, an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses, before lunch in Avanos. After lunch, visit a pottery workshop, Love Valley, Devrent Valley, also known as Imagination Valley, and the Three Beauties fairy chimneys.

Overnight: Cappadocia

Day 11: Cappadocia to Istanbul

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Cappadocia. Later, depart for Cappadocia Airport for the domestic flight to Istanbul, marking the end of the tour.
